PANO – When alive, President Ho Chi Minh had said “Food and weapons are sweat and tears of our people, blood and bones of our troops, so that we must value, spare, well maintain and properly use them”.

Located in Thuong Thanh ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi, the Weapons Museum is home to thousands of kinds of weapons, which have been used by Vietnamese people and troops in the resistance wars for national salvation and independence.

PANO would like to introduce some collections of weapons used in resistance war against American invaders at the museum:

The museum’s staff introduces a collection of guns

A collection of submachine guns

Grenade launchers
Pistols

A collection of mortars

Anti-tank weapons

A simulation of the Cao Ky cave in Huu Lung district, Lang Son province, where weapons were stored
