Two bombs deactivated in Son La province
PANO - Engineers from the Son La provincial Military Command, in coordination with Thuan Chau district’ Military Command, defused two large bombs in the locality.

Earlier, the bombs were found in Ba Nha village, Thom Mon commune, Thuan Chau district. Each bomb is 30cm in diameter, over 126cm in length, and weighs over 340kg.
These bombs were believed to be used in the national resistance war against American invaders.
After receiving the information, engineers from the Son La provincial Military Command, in coordination with Thuan Chau district’ Military Command and local authorities, safely moved the bombs to a detonation area.
