Team K73 departs for Cambodia to conduct search and collection of martyrs’ remains
PANO - The Steering Committee for search, collection, and verification of fallen soldiers' remains (Steering Committee 515) of Long An province held a ceremony on November 7 at Binh Hiep International Border Gate to see off Team K73’s personnel to conduct the search and collection of remains of fallen Vietnamese volunteer troops and military advisors in Cambodia.
The event was attended by Deputy Technical Chief and member of Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 7 Senior Colonel Dang Minh Phuong and Deputy Political Commissar of the Long An provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan.

In the 2022 – 2023 dry season, the Long An provincial Military Command’s Team K73 in charge of searching and collecting remains of fallen soldiers will conduct the mission in Svay Rieng, Battambang, and Paylin provinces from November 7, 2022 to January 6, 2023.
All members of the team are determined to overcome all difficulties to successfully accomplish assigned missions, soon repatriating remains of Vietnamese fallen soldiers home.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Political Commissar of the Long An provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan emphasized that searching, collecting, and repatriating remains of fallen soldiers is not only a duty and responsibility, but also a sacred obligation. Therefore, he urged Team K73’s members to continue upholding solidarity, overcome difficulties, strictly observe discipline, well carry out external relations activities, enhance the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the Cambodian people’s hearts, and be determined to search, collect, and repatriate remains of Vietnamese fallen volunteer soldiers and military advisors home.
