An overview of the inspection

During the inspection, Maj. Gen. Le Van Trung shared the difficulties and hardships faced by members of the team. He emphasized that in the time ahead, the search and recovery of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed their lives in Laos will continue to encounter numerous challenges due to increasingly limited information sources, changing terrain, harsh weather conditions, and complicated transportation. He required the team’s members to continue clearly identifying this task as a particularly important and sacred political mission, demonstrating Party, State, military, and people’s gratitude toward the heroic martyrs.

The Party Committee and Chain-of-command of the team were requested to strengthen political and disciplinary education to ensure strict compliance with regulations; pay attention to safeguarding the material and spiritual well-being of the troops; promote mass mobilization efforts; preserve and further enhance the solidarity and close ties with party committees, local authorities, and people in areas where the unit is stationed; use budgets in accordance with regulations; focus on healthcare and disease prevention; and ensure absolute safety during mission execution.

On this occasion, Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4 presented gifts and extended New Year greetings to the team’s members who are carrying out their mission in Laos.
