Remains of 83 fallen soldiers repatriated from Cambodia
PANO - On June 30, at Hoa Lu International Border Gate, Provincial Steering Committee 515 of Binh Phuoc province held a ceremony to repatriate remains of 83 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives during war in Cambodia.
The 83 sets of remains were discovered by Team K72 of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Military Command during a three-month search operation in Cambodia in the dry season in 2023.

During the ceremony, leaders of Binh Phuoc province praised and highly appreciated Team K72 for their pro-active efforts in overcoming all challenges, successfully completing their mission, and strictly observing military discipline.
They also expressed gratitude to the Cambodian units and localities for their cooperation and support to Team K72 and Steering Committee 515 of Binh Phuoc, which greatly contributed to the successful search and repatriation of the remains of the 83 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers.
