PM welcomes former brave teenagers
PANO - On the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the former Southern Brave Teenager team (May 19, 1968), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception for representatives of former brave teenagers in the Southern theater during the resistance war against American invaders on May 18 at the Government’s office.
On behalf of the delegation of representatives, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung expressed his gratitude for the care shown by the Party, State and military. He also showed his delight at the country’s development over the past time and his trust in the Party’s sound leadership and the Government’s operation.

He affirmed that the former brave teenagers have always been loyal to the national revolution and upheld the true virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in all circumstances and hoped to contribute more to the national development and defense cause.
For his part, Prime Minister Phuc said that the Party, State and people would always keep in mind the contributions of war martyrs and wounded soldiers and strive to take better care of them. He added that the former brave teenagers have become good examples for the whole society because of their unyielding willpower to fight for the national liberation cause.
The Prime Minister wished the delegation good health and suggested to them to continue promoting traditions and spirit of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, contributing to better serving the country and people.
