Division 10’s team recovers martyrs' remains in Dak Pek commune, Quang Ngai province.

This was the second set of martyrs' remains recovered in the commune by Division 10’s team in coordination with the Dak Pek commune People’s Committee and relevant forces.

Earlier, based on the division’s archival records and information provided by Y Noan, born in 1961 and residing in Dak Pek commune, the team coordinated with local authorities and relevant forces to conduct surveys and searches in Dong Song village.

After several days of searching, the team recovered one set of martyrs' remains on October 28, together with a military groundsheet and a knife.

Colonel Truong Van Thang, a policy assistant of Division 10, said the division’s Party Committee and command would continue directing relevant agencies and the search and recovery team to work closely with local authorities to encourage residents to provide information about fallen soldiers and their graves through various channels.

The division will also expand surveys and searches to areas where battles took place, troops marched through or were stationed, and sites suspected of containing martyrs' remains, making every effort to bring more fallen soldiers’ remains back to their hometowns.
