MR4 checks Ha Tinh's preparations for search and collection of fallen soldiers’ remains
PANO – A working delegation of the Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4 (MR4), led by its Deputy Political Chief Major General Phan Van Sy, on September 15 inspected Ha Tinh province’s preparations for search and collection of martyrs’ remains in the 2021-2022 dry season.
After checking, the steering board concluded that the Ha Tinh provincial Military Command has embraced higher level’s instructions, directives, and resolutions to prepare for upcoming missions in search, collection, and verification of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed their lives when implementing international service in Laos.
Together with building concrete plans and training participating forces, the provincial Military Command has closely coordinated with the Lao special working committees of Bolykhamxay province and the capital of Vientiane to enhance the implementation of the search, collection, and verification of fallen soldiers and advisors in Laos.
In addition, the command proactively provided timely recommendations for the province’s Steering Board 515 to hold an online talk with the special working committees of Bolykhamxay province and the capital of Vientiane to discuss several contents related to search, collection, and verification of fallen troops and advisors in Laos during the 2021-2022 dry season.
At the visit, the delegation required the Steering Board 515 of Ha Tinh province to continue following higher levels’ instructions and collaborating with the Lao local authorities and special working committees to complete their assignment while ensuring safety for troops and equipment when implementing the mission and COVID-19 prevention.
