The activity aimed to mark the 46th founding anniversary of the Youth Volunteer Force of Ho Chi Minh City (March 28, 1976-2022).
The Youth Volunteer Force of Ho Chi Minh City was established in March 1976. While performing missions in the Southwestern borderline, 99 youth volunteers sacrificed themselves, and nearly 200 others were injured.
The root-returning activity contributed to educating people, especially young generations, of the tradition “When drinking water, remember its source,” and the spirit of solidarity, pioneering, dynamism, creativeness, and determination to overcome hardships and challenges.
On the occasion, the Youth Volunteer Force of Ho Chi Minh City conducted various meaningful activities to care for martyrs’ families, wounded soldiers, and extremely disadvantaged members of the force.
