Defense leader pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers in Quang Binh
PANO - A delegation of the Steering Committee of the Defense Ministry-level Scientific Seminar on Lieutenant General Dong Sy Nguyen, on February 23, offered incense and flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers in Quang Binh province.
The delegation was led by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates vowed to direct and solemnly and successfully organize the scientific seminar, thereby contributing to expressing gratitude to Lt. Gen. Dong Sy Nguyen for his merits and contribution to the country.

* On the same day, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, and his entourage offered incense and flowers at the house of the general’s family and presented gifts to five policy beneficiaries in Quang Trung commune, Ba Don town.

On the occasion, the mission burned incense to commemorate late Major General Nguyen Van Man, former Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, who sacrificed his life while carrying out the rescue mission at Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant in Phong Xuan commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province in October 2020.
