The delegates promised to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the nation and the people and promote good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers to undertake all assigned missions.
On the same day, General Phan Van Giang burned incense to commemorate late Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Be Van Dan in Ban Buong village, Be Van Dan commune, Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province.
On the occasion, Gen. Giang and the mission presented 100 gifts to poor families and policy beneficiaries in Trung Khanh and Quang Hoa districts.

The defense minister extended wishes of good health to the families, hoping that they would promote revolutionary traditions of the home town, strictly obey the Party’s policies and guideline, the State’s laws, as well as boost production to raise the quality of life, contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful home town.
Earlier, on February 12, the delegation offered incense at Tran Hung Dao Forest, a special national relic site, in Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province.
Particularly, the mission offered incense and laid flowers to commemorate the eldest brother of the Vietnam People’s Army General Vo Nguyen Giap and 34 soldiers of the Vietnam Armed Propaganda and Liberation Team (the predecessor of the Vietnam People's Army).

Over the past 79 years (December 22, 1944), under the direction of President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam Armed Propaganda and Liberation Team was founded with 34 members at this historical location.
In a solemn atmosphere, General Phan Van Giang and the delegates expressed deep gratitude to late General Vo Nguyen Giap who had made great contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. His name is closely attached to the establishment, combat, and development of the Vietnamese revolution, as well as to significant historical milestones of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army and the country.

“The Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and troops in the whole military commit themselves to stay united and absolutely loyal to the Party, the State, the people and the socialist political system while promoting good virtues and glorious traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army to accomplish all assigned missions,” the defense minister wrote in the remembrance book.
After the incense offering ceremony, General Phan Van Giang and the mission visited the place where the Vietnam Armed Propaganda and Liberation Team was established.
