Working delegation departs for Truong Sa island district
PANO - The Navy held a conference in Cam Ranh, in Khanh Hoa province, on April 7 to commence the working visit of the fifth inspection mission to Truong Sa (Spratly) island district and DK1 platforms.

The regular activity aims to promote information dissemination on seas and islands combined with the mobilization of resources to support Truong Sa Islands, DK1 Platforms, contributing to boosting socio-economic development and firmly protecting the national maritime sovereignty. By April, four working delegations have visited Truong Sa Islands.
At the conference, the delegation with representatives from 12 agencies and units such as the Vietnam State Treasury, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and Bach Mai Hospital were informed about the schedule of the trip.
Accordingly, this 10-day mission departed on April 7 and is expected to travel up to 1,064 nautical miles. The first destination of the trip is Song Tu Tay Island.
