On August 7, the Binh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Binh Thuan Branch, Hoa Thang Border Post and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province held the handover ceremony of a gratitude house to the needy family of Old Nguyen Ngoc Minh (60 years old), in Hong Trung village, Hong Phong commune. The 44sq.m-house was built with a budget of nearly VND 70 million, of which VND 50 million came from the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Binh Thuan Branch and the provincial Border Guard Command and VND 15 million from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Phong commune. On August 3, the Binh Dinh provincial Border Guard Command and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee handed over a great unity house to Old Nguyen Thi Quang (80 years old), a lonely elderly in difficult living circumstances in Nhon Chau island commune, Quy Nhon city. She received a donation of VND 50 million from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province and the provincial Border Guard Command. Additionally, the Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter of Quy Nhon city contributed VND 30 million for the construction of the house. This house is one of the five great unity houses supported by the above-mentioned units on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Border Guard Festive Day and the 65th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam Border Guard.

On August 3, Xuan Dai Border Post under the Phu Yen provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Song Cau Town Youth Union, Xuan Dai Kindergarten and Youth Union of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Phu Yen province to organize the inauguration and handover ceremony of a children’s playground. The project was carried out at Xuan Dai Kindergarten (Xuan Dai ward, Song Cau town, Phu Yen province), including the following activities: Repairing and renewing the playground, repainting and drawing patterns on school walls, installing fences and gates at the cost of VND 40 million. Notably, more than 350 officials, soldiers, Youth Union members, youths, and school teachers participated in the construction.
