Accordingly, Battalion 100 (currently Guarding Battalion 100) signed a coordination agreement with the Youth Union Organization of An Thanh townlet, Thuan An district (now An Thanh ward, Thuan An city), Binh Duong province in August 1993. Over the past 30 years, the two units have conducted a series of activities, including mass mobilization work, activities to support policy beneficiaries, artistic and sports exchange programs, and experience sharing in Youth Union work, among others, contributing to tightening military-civilian solidarity and caring for social security.

Up to now, both units have coordinated in building and repairing rural roads; planting various green trees; cleaning up the environment surrounding the ward's People’s Committee and war cemeteries; providing financial support for the construction of houses for needy people, policy beneficiaries and national contributors; and presented gifts to those who had rendered good service to the nation during national and lunar New Year holidays. Meanwhile, the two sides have collaborated to conduct law dissemination activities among officers, soldiers, Youth Union members, and local people.

These activities have contributed to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, tightening military-civilian solidarity, supporting the locality in building a strong and healthy Party organization and comprehensively-strong authorities and unit, accomplishing the political tasks of each side.
