The activity was held to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, welcome the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026, and mark the 58th founding anniversary of Air Defense Division 375 (February 14, 1968 - 2026).

More than a cultural and spiritual event at the beginning of the year, the program carried political significance. It contributed to educating and fostering tradition, pride, and determination among officers and soldiers who are on round-the-clock duty, maintaining combat readiness and managing the assigned airspace.

The program featured vibrant activities rich in national cultural identity, such as decoration of the Tet altar, a banh chung (square sticky rice cake) making contest, Spring couplets writing, and folk games including pot breaking, ball tossing into a basin, tug-of-war, and slow cycling.

During the program, soldiers and youth from twinned units joined together to make banh chung and prepare Tet trays, creating warm and meaningful images. Laughter and cheers blended with the colors of Spring in the barracks, easing the homesickness of soldiers on duty.

Interspersed between competitions were special cultural performances by officers, soldiers, and youth members from sister units. Songs and dances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and the heroic tradition of the Air Defense - Air Force Service left a strong impression, further strengthening the solidarity between the military and local people in the stationed area.

Through the program, the close-knit relationship between the unit and local Party committees, authorities, and people continued to be reinforced and nurtured.

The event also provided an opportunity for Missile Regiment 282 to promote the image of air defense soldiers who are steadfast, responsible, close to the people, respectful of the people, and dedicated to serving the people. It ignited a vibrant emulation spirit and determination to successfully accomplish all assigned tasks during the Tet 2026 holiday.

The program concluded in joy, excitement, and renewed confidence. Amidst the Spring season, military-civilian bonds grew even stronger, becoming a powerful spiritual motivation for troops of Missile Regiment 282 to continue upholding their heroic tradition and stand firm on the frontline in safeguarding the Fatherland’s skies.
