Fishermen of the distressed trawler numbered BD 98658 TS were taken ashore safely.

At 4:30 pm the same day the trawler, with 14 crewmembers on board, sent a mayday signal to the mainland.

After searching for two days, Ship KN-467 reached the troubled trawler at 1:00 a.m. on October 29 and quickly provided food and healthcare for its crew-members. The troubled trawler with 11 men was then towed to shore safely. Its other three crew-members moved to another rescue boat to continue searching for the missing fishermen of Ships BD 97469 TS and BD 96388 TS.

On October 31, the steering committee of the Naval Service continued to send ships to collaborate with relevant forces to search for the missing fishermen of the two distressed ships.
