Troops help people overcome natural disaster consequences
PANO – According to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, and Search and Rescue of Ha Giang province, torrential rains in recent days have caused landslides in several localities, leaving four people dead.
Landslides in Ho Thau commune, Hoang Su Phi district also killed one person and injured another.
Meanwhile, three victims of landslides in Nam Ty commune were provided with first aid and transferred to the provincial hospital for further treatment. In addition, eight houses and rice and other cash crops were also damaged.

Many road sections in the province were blocked, causing traffic congestion.
On receiving the information, the local military units mobilized nearly 50 troops to help local people overcome consequences of natural disasters and search for the missing.
The Steering Committees for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, and Search and Rescue at all levels in collaboration with local authorities supported families of the dead and injured victims, and mobilized local armed forces and vehicles to reopen traffic from the district of Bac Quang to Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man.
