Troops help extinguish forest fire in Ha Tinh
PANO - Troops from Military Region 4, in collaboration with local firefighters, extinguished a pine forest fire in Xuan Hong commune, Ha Tinh province’s Nghi Xuan district, on June 28.
After receiving the information about the blaze breaking out at 1:00pm of the same day, nearly 200 troops of the region’s affiliated units rushed to the scene to put out the fire.
Despite hot weather and strong winds, the firefighting forces managed to get the fire under control later at midnight of the day.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
