Troops help locals clean up the environment
PANO - Troops of Battalion 3 under the Military School of Army Corp 1 recently cooperated with youth members in Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city, Ninh Binh province to launch a summer volunteer campaign.
The campaign focuses on various activities such as cleaning up the environment, proactively coping with climate change, and overcoming environmental incidents in areas where the unit is stationed.

Accordingly, the participating forces upgraded rural roads, cleaned up the environment, dredged irrigation canals, collected garbage, and trimmed large tree branches to avoid accidents from future storms.
Along with these activities, the unit and local youth organization also held exchange programs to promote the dissemination of information on protecting natural habitats, raising preservation awareness and developing the urban areas.
These practical activities contribute to protecting the living environment, promoting sustainable development, and reducing environmental pollution in public places.
