As of 5:00 p.m. on October 29, about 32,885 houses across the province were flooded (including 19,762 in Le Thuy district and 12,123 in Quang Ninh district, among others).

To ensure safety for flood-hit victims, local authorities and functional forces evacuated 1,249 households with 3,681 people to safer places and provided food and necessities to residents.

Notably, local armed forces and units stationed in the area have overcome difficulties to help the victims.
