MIC presents gifts to flood-hit families.

The third storm and its circulation caused heavy rain and floods. The roads were eroded and cut off, the schools were severely affected and degraded, making it very difficult for parents and students to go to school. Sharing with their difficulties, MIC’s Trade Union and troops of Y Ty Border Station set up a playground for children in Ngai Thau Thuong school, helping them have more fun when going to school. Meanwhile, the organizing panel re-tiled the floors of three classrooms affected by landslides in the school and presented gifts to teachers of seven kindergartens and a primary school. The delegation also inquired after two families whose seven members died due to floods and landslides.
