Three distressed fishermen saved at sea
PANO – Hai An Border Post of the Quang Tri provincial Border Guard, on January 19, noted that the unit, in coordination with local authorities and people, successfully rescued a distressed trawler with three fishermen.
Reportedly, at 13:00 on the same day, in the waters off My Thuy village, Hai An commune, Hai Lang district, a trawler of Nguyen Duc Quang (born in 1972), a resident of My Thuy village, Hai An commune, Hai Lang district, was hit by strong waves while fishing.

At that time, there were three fishermen on board, Nguyen Dinh Thuong (born in 1963), Nguyen Duc Mui (born in 1968), and Nguyen Cong Trieu (born in 1999). They are all from My Thuy village, Hai An commune.
After receiving the information, the Hai An Border Post sent troops, together with local functional forces and people, to rescue the distressed fishermen and safely bring them ashore.
