A leader of Flotilla 32 presents gifts to local people.

At the event, the organizers presented 300 gifts to policy beneficiaries, fishermen, and students facing difficulties in three communes and wards of Ninh Hoa town. Each gift, worth VND 1 million, included VND 500,000 in cash and necessities.

The program, part of the “Coast guards support fishermen” program, showed the sentiments and responsibilities of the Vietnamese coast guard force in general and of Flotilla 32 in particular to care for needy families and fishermen ahead of the New Year holidays.

It also helped consolidate and strengthen the solidarity and close ties between troops and people, raise awareness and responsibility of people from all walks of life to team with the coast guard force to protect national sovereignty and security at sea and on islands.

In the framework of the program, Flotilla 32 disseminated information about sea and islands and related laws to more than 200 cadres, people, and students in Ninh Van commune, Ninh Hoa town.

The organizers also offered flowers and incense in commemoration of fallen troops of the No-number Ship C235 at Hon Heo No-number Ship Relic Site in Ninh Van commune.
