* On the occasion, the units offered incense to pay tribute to fallen soldiers at the memorial site of the Army Officer Candidate School 2 in Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province

The memorial site, constructed in 2003 with a total area of around 10,000 square meters, is to commemorate fallen soldiers who made great contribution to the construction and development of the school.

The incense offering ceremony of the delegation showed their deep gratitude to former generations and their sentiments towards local authorities and people for protecting, caring, and helping officers, instructors, and cadets of the school.

The school’s personnel toured the memorial site and listened to stories about the struggle against the U.S. imperialists told by war veterans.
