Six gratitude houses handed over to needy ethnic minority people in Ha Tinh
PANO – The Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Ha Tinh Province and the Provincial Border Guard Command co-held a ceremony to hand over 6 “Great Unity Houses” to the Chut ethnic minority people in Rao Tre Village, Huong Lien Commune, Huong Khe District.

These houses, covering 55 square meters each, are designed in the stilt style of the Chut ethnic minority group with two rooms and one kitchen.
The total cost of construction of the 6 houses was nearly VND 1 billion, of which the provincial FFC deducted VND 300 million from the Fund for disaster relief (VND 50 million each house), the rest was funded by Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guards (worth VND 100 million each house).
Border Guards in Ban Giang (Giang Village) provided construction materials such as stone and sand ... valued at about VND 10 million and its troops spent 2,000 working days building the houses.
