Reputable people - Bridge between Party and ethnic minority people
PANO - In the renewal, integration, and national construction and development, heads of villages, village patriarchs, and prestigious people among ethnic minority communities are exemplary people in implementing and mobilizing locals to observe the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies.
They are also active in carrying out economic development, hunger elimination and poverty reduction and building a new cultural life, contributing to maintaining security and order and fostering the national unity.
The whole nation now has 28,538 reputable people, including 3,178 heads of villages, 2,635 village patriarchs, 1,526 secretaries of hamlets’ party committees, and 500 religious dignitaries.
