Village patriarchs, outstanding prestigious people, and representatives of the people’s boards in 12 hamlets in Axan and Tr’hy communes receive gifts.

Through the meeting, the organizing panel expected to strengthen the solidarity and close relationship between the border post and local party committees, local authorities, village patriarch, prestigious people, thus encouraging them to join the troops’ efforts in disseminating information and managing and firmly protecting national sovereignty and security in border areas.

According to Party Secretary and Political Officer of Axan Border Post Major Nguyen Van Loi, apart from completing assigned missions, the unit has collaborated with local authorities to build a house for a needy household and adopted and taken care of 29 students. Those obtained outcomes come from troops’ efforts and the effective support of local party committees and authorities, agencies, units, and especially village patriarch and prestigious people.  

At the meeting, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Hoang Van Man updated participants on the situation in the country, the province, and the Vietnam-Laos shared borderline. He acknowledged and thanked village patriarchs, outstanding prestigious people, and representatives of the people’s boards in 12 hamlets in Axan and Tr’hy communes for their contribution to protecting national sovereignty and border security.

On this occasion, Axan Border Post, in collaboration with Truong Hai Group and Tuyet Nguyen Co., Ltd., handed over 38 Tet gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to 26 village patriarchs, outstanding prestigious people, and representatives of the people’s boards in 12 hamlets in Axan and Tr’hy communes.
