Xong Nhia Ly, a H’mong man from Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district, is one of the people in border area receiving the assistance from border guard troops. In 2022, Senior Captain Nguyen Kim Trong, Head of the Mass Mobilization Team of Tam Hop Border Post was assigned to guiding Ly to expand his production scale, raise cattle, goats, and poultry to improve his family’s economy. Ly recalled, "When I started building the farm, my family faced many difficulties, but with the help of the border guard force and local authorities who provide electricity, livestock, and farming techniques, I am motivated to keep going and determined to escape poverty."
Similarly, Quang Thi Loan’s family in Vang Mon village, Tam Hop commune, was provided with an initial capital of VND 17 million by the Tam Hop Border Post to buy seven goats for breeding. In addition, the unit sent Party members like Captain Trong to assist his family in building a proper goat pen and equip him with goat caring techniques. Just one year later, the goat herd grew three times in number. This success has helped Loan's family develop their economy, stabilize the life, and become a model for other households in the area.

“When I am assigned to supporting a family, I first understand their actual situation and needs, then propose appropriate methods to help them effectively, aiming to help people rise out of poverty,” said Trong.
Xong Nhia Ly and Quang Thi Loan are among the many families in Tam Hop commune selected to implement the “Sharing 50” model. According to this model, Party members of Tam Hop Border Post will support poor households with livestock and seedlings to help them escape poverty. The profits from animals or crops will be shared 50% to the people and 50% to the investor to support others. The initial funding is also maintained to further support the family's production.
In the border area of Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, having been assigned to the Party cell of Pa Khom village and assisting poor local households, Non-commissioned Major Bui Duc Long, a member of the Mass Mobilization Team of Tri Le Border Post, immediately worked with the local Party cell and authorities to conduct the assistance. Thanks to Long’s advice, the locals took advantage of local strengths to increase income and stabilize living standards.
Political Commissar of Tri Le Border Post Colonel Ho Thanh Quang said that following Directive 681-CT/DU, the border post has assigned each member of the unit's leadership to providing support to from five to ten households. Other members of the unit are tasked with giving assistance to from five to seven households each. Additionally, the post has called on organizations, individuals, and benefactors to provide seedlings and livestock for locals to develop economic models in remote areas, helping them rise out of poverty and stabilize their lives.
