The female service members of the province not only undertake important tasks such as managing files and papers, providing healthcare, or handling confidential correspondence, but also play a crucial role in information dissemination, logistics, and financial operations. With a strong sense of duty, these union members work hard to complete their assigned tasks and actively participate in various emulation movements launched by the Women’s Union chapters s at all levels, which are closely linked to the unit’s “Determined to win” emulation drives.

The Women’s Union chapter of the Kon Tum provincial Border Guard Command has developed specific action programs tailored to the real conditions of the unit and the deployed area. They regularly update and innovate their content and operating methods to concretize the goals and indicators of the emulation movement, thus motivating the members to participate enthusiastically. Among the notable activities are the “Intelligent and resilient women of Kon Tum border guard force, successfully fulfilling duties, building happy families, and deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period” emulation drive and various campaigns aimed at “Promoting traditions, contributing talent, and deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers” along with many other initiatives.

The women’s union members have consistently promoted responsibilities in every activity, emphasizing unity, mutual support, and shared assistance. They have eagerly participated in community-oriented programs, particularly those that support impoverished women and underprivileged students in border areas. The union has organized numerous initiatives, such as distributing gifts to the Women’s Union of Kon Mo Nay Ko Tu village, Dak Bla commune, Kon Tum city; providing breeding pigs to disadvantaged women in Dak Nhoong commune, Dak Glei district, and Ia Dal commune, Ia H’Drai district; and adopting and caring for a ninth-grade student from Sa Thay Secondary School.

In addition, officers and members of the Women’s Union of the provincial Border Guard Command have achieved outstanding results in various artistic festivals organized by the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army, as well as in competitions and sports events hosted by the Vietnam Border Guard Command.

Throughout 2024 and the early months of 2025, the women’s union organization has made a significant contribution to the unit’s “Determined to win” emulation drive. The unity, creativity, and relentless effort of the women’s union members have created a widespread and powerful impact, affirming the status of women in the armed forces while also establishing a positive image of female border guards in the new period.
