Naval station saves fisherman injured in occupational accident
PANO - The Medical staff of Radar Station 595 of Battalion 551 of Naval Region 5 successfully gave first aid to a fisherman suffering from work accident at sea on January 5.
At 10:30 on January 5, the station received a request to provide first aid to a fisherman on trawler CM 99927 TS, who was unconscious after being hit in the chest by a broken rope while the trawler was fishing in the waters near Hon Khoai Island (Ca Mau province).

Upon receiving the news, Radar Station 595 sent a medical team to the scene.
At 10:54, the medical staff of the station reached the trawler and promptly gave first aid to the troubled fisherman, Nguyen Be Hai, aged 53, a resident of Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province.
About 30 minutes later, the fisherman regained consciousness. After that the station guided the trawler to take the fisherman to the shore for health examination.
Trawler CM 99927 TS, owned by Nguyen Van Vinh, had six fishermen on board.
