Naval ship takes fisherman to Phu Quy Island
PANO – Ship 416 of Naval Region 4 took an ill fisherman to Phu Quy Island in Binh Thuan province and handed him over to functional agencies on August 30.

Earlier on August 29, Ship 416, which was carrying out the mission of managing the designated waters, received an order from higher level to take an ill fisherman ashore for treatment.
At 7:00p.m. the same day, the ship approached trawler QNg 95898 TS, which was operating 120 nautical miles east of Phu Quy island, to take ill fisherman Nguyen Minh Yen to the island for emergency aid.
Fisherman Nguyen Minh Yen was born in 1969 in Binh Chanh commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province. He worked on squid-fishing trawler QNg 95898 TS with 41 fishermen on board and Bui Tu (from the same commune) at the whelm.

According to military doctors’ diagnosis, the patient had severe symptoms of stroke, including left hemiplegia (paralysis of the left side of the body). He also could not move his limbs and could not speak.
