Naval Region 5’s troops stamp out forest fire

Troops of the Naval Region 5 Command apply measures to extinguish the fire.

When reported about the fire by the local authorities, the Naval Region 5 Command immediately sent two fire trucks and dozens of troops to cooperate with other local forces to promptly stamp out the fire.

Due to pro-long hot weather and many dry leaves and branches, the blaze quickly spread, making it hard for the fire fighting forces to put the fire under control. 

After two hours, with different methods applied, troops of the Naval Region 5 Command and other forces prevented the fire from spreading to locals’ cultivation land.
