On August 19, in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province, Army Corps 15 received three tons of longan, worth VND 120 million in total, from farmers of Hung Yen province for consumption.

Previously, the unit helped sell 6.3 tons of lychee, worth VND over 200 million totally, and presented five tons of vegetable, worth over VND 60 million, to Military Hospital 175.

In addition, the corps spent hundreds of million of VND to support its employees in Laos and Cambodia, as well as pandemic-hit people in Ho Chi Minh City.

* A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh municipal authorities visited and presented medical supplies and gifts to the Field Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment No.5 in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City. 

At the visit, delegates expressed their deep gratitude to medical personnel of the hospital for taking care of COVID-19 patients thus contributing to the city’s pandemic prevention and control.

* The Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to troops on duty at border checkpoints and along the border area on August 19. The unit required their troops to heighten their vigilance, collaborate with relevant forces to prevent people from illegal entry, and fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

* Binh Thuan province’s chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front received five tons of rice and five tons of vegetable, worth VND 100 million, from Hai An Power Co., Ltd. on August 19.

The same day, the agency received VND 100 million from Binh Thuan branch of the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel).

Division 372 presents gifts to needy people in Da Nang city.

* Division 372 of the Air Force - Air Defense Service in collaboration with the local authorities presented gifts to needy families in Da Nang city on August 19.

The unit gave 300 sets of gifts, worth VND 150 million, to pandemic-hit people in Hoa Thuan Tay ward of Hai Chau district and An Khe ward of Thanh Khe district.

* The Coast Guard Region 4 Command in association with Kien Giang provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization presented gifts to needy families and COVID-19 prevention and control forces in Hon Tre island commune, Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province. The unit’s leadership mobilized Ship CSB 2001 to transport necessities and gifts to the commune.

In addition, they handed over 10 bikes and 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students in Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province.

* Cat Khanh Border Station under the Binh Dinh provincial Border Guard Command transported 200 boxes of instant noodle, five tons of vegetable, and other necessities to give to people in Cat Tien townlet and Cat Hai commune of Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province.

* The Ba Vi district Military Command in association with the district authorities handed over 100 gifts, worth VND 250,000 each, to the Dao ethnic minority people and 10 sets of gifts, worth VND 350,000 each, to their disadvantaged children.
