More care for needy people in Central Highlands province
PANO - On May 8, the Army Radio-Television Center, in association with Army Corps 15 and the local authorities of Duc Co district, Gia Lai province, held a ceremony to hand over four pairs of breeding cows, worth VND 25 million each, to four needy ethnic households in Ia Nan, Ia Krel and Ia Krieng communes.
The donors instructed the recipients on how to build cowsheds and take care of their cattle. Also, they donated VND 70 million to build a gratitude house for the family of Ro Cham Buh in Ia O commune, Ia Grai district.
The program was held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation campaign (June 11, 1948) and the 5th anniversary of the first on-air program of the Vietnamese Defense Television Channel (QPVN).
The Dak Lak branch of the Military Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (MB) has just associated with sponsors to provide power for and hand over cattle to the needy family of Nguyen Van Co and Dam Thi Binh in Quang Hiep commune, Cu M’gar district, Dac Lac province.
