33 breeding cattle handed over to needy families
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross handed over 33 breeding cattle to needy households in three districts of Binh Chanh, Nha Be and Hoc Mon.

This was part of the program “Cow Bank” which has been implemented by the municipal Red Cross since July 2013.
The program aimed to support needy households to improve their lives. Until now, the Red Cross has handed over 198 breeding cattle, worth nearly VND 5.5 billion, to locals in 5 suburban districts.
Additionally, the organization also presented 140 cattle at a cost of nearly VND 1.4 billion to the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, An Giang, Bac Lieu, Dong Thap, Soc Trang, Dak Lak and some northern provinces.
