Discussing measures to evacuate flood-hit locals in Hoa Binh province

* The Military Region 2 Command ordered the provincial military commands of Son La, Yen Bai and Phu Tho to send troops and vehicles to flood-hit areas to help people overcome flood consequences.

* In North Central region, the Military Region 4 Command mobilized 4,612 troops and vehicles to evacuate over 7,000 households to safe areas. Two border officers, namely Captain Nguyen Thanh Chung and Colonel Cao Dang Cuong, were missing after being swept away by the floods during their mission in the flood-hit area of Thanh Hoa province.

* The Border Guard Command asked relevant border units from Quang Ninh to Nghe An provinces to send troops and vehicles to help flood-hit people in their stationed areas. As a result, 512 troops, 12 boats, 21 canoes, and 25 road vehicles were mobilized to evacuate 1,500 locals and move 89 households to safer places.
