Military Region 5 expresses gratitude to national contributors

Maj. Gen. Truong Thien To presents gifts to local policy families and poor households.

The mission gave 50 gifts to local national contributors and poor households. It granted bikes to 10 poor students with good academic records.

Along with visiting heroic Vietnam mother Dinh Thi May in Ba To commune, other families of veteran revolutionaries, the military commands of Ba To district and Ba Thanh commune, the mission also offered free health check-ups, health counselling, and medicines to nearly 400 people in Ba Thanh commune.

On this occasion, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Military Command presented gifts to local policy beneficiary families and needy households.

The above deeds were among a wide range of activities launched by the Military Region 5 Command on the threshold of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba To district, Quang Ngai province (October 30, 1972-2022). Ba To district was the birth place of the armed forces of Military Region 5.

The activities were meaningful to help local people in need in a timely manner, uphold the revolutionary traditions of troops and people of Region 5 in general and of the Party committee, troops and people of Ba To district in particular in the national salvation and reunification cause.
