During the event, more than 350 needy and policy households in Duong Diem commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province received free health check-ups and medicines. Meanwhile, doctors also instructed them on how to prevent some kinds of diseases as well as methods to take care of their health. The organizing board also presented meaningful gifts to people.
The program aimed to promote the coordination between Military Hospital 175 and Tien Giang provincial Public Security Department in organizing activities for public health, as well as helping needy people. The program contributed to improving young doctors’ responsibility towards the community, promoting the noble image of Uncle Ho’s military doctors.
* A similar program was jointly held by Tan Uyen city’s Military Command and Military Hospital 7A, Military Region 7, in Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province.
This was a practical activity in celebration of the upcoming National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holidays, showing the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” as well as the responsibility of Military Region 7’s armed forces towards the local authorities and people.
Accordingly, more than 300 people had their health checked and 300 gifts, worth VND 400,000 each, were handed over to policy and needy households.
* On April 22, the Army Officer Training School No.2, in coordination with Military Hospital 175, held a ceremony to hand over a gratitude house to Non-commissioned Senior Captain Le Thi Anh Ngoc.
The house, worth more than VND 180 million, has an area of 100m2, of which Military Hospital 175 supported VND 80 million, meanwhile, the unit donated VND 100 million.
The house was built to help comrade Ngoc soon stabilize her life and well fulfill all assigned missions.
