Individuals and groups awarded for COVID-19 prevention and control efforts
PANO – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to award three groups and two individuals of the Ministry of National Defense in recognition of their contribution to the country’s COVID-19 prevention and control.

According to Decision No.1417/QD-TTg issued on August 20, the Prime Minister presented certificates of merit to three units, including the Preventive Medicine Team of the Department of Logistics of Military Region 9, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control under Army Corps 4, and Military Hospital 4 of the Department of Logistics of Military Region 4.
The individuals receiving the awards are Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, Colonel Hoang Duc Hau, Director of the High-tech Treatment Research Center under the Institute of Tropical Biomedicine of the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center.
The awarded groups and individuals have actively participated in the COVID-19 prevention and control in their stationed localities, particularly in transporting vaccines, collecting COVID-19 test samples, and assisting people at concentrated quarantine areas.
