The 70sq.m house with three bedrooms, one bathroom, and one kitchen was built at a cost of VND 80 million from the “Gratitude Fund” of the PAN. Troops of Brigade 299 (Army Corps 1) donated 50 working days to help build the gratitude house.

At the ceremony, leaders of Army Corps 1, the PAN, Bridge 299, and representatives of local authorities also presented gifts worth VND 20 million to Quyen's family.

This is one of many activities in the coordination program between Army Corps 1 and the PAN in 2020.

* Local authorities and Phuc Son Border Guard Station (Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command) on September 6 held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a gratitude house for Ms. Pham Thi Xuan in village C3, Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Xuan's family faced housing difficulties.

Local authorities called on organizations, businesses and other benefactors to donate VND 20 million to the construction of this 20sq.m house for Ms. Xuan.

Troops of Phuc Son Border Guard Station and people in village C3 donated working days to the construction of the gratitude house.

* Meanwhile, Depot K23 under the Technical Department of Military Region 3 also handed over a house of gratitude to Captain Tran Quang Vi who is currently living in needy circumstances.

The 77sq.m house was completed after three months of construction at a cost of VND 80 million donated by the unit, and the remaining sum was donated by the local people and authorities.

On the occasion, the agencies, units and local authorities also presented some gifts to the recipient.
