According to a plan devised by the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Border Guard Command was assigned to constructing 96 houses in Na Bung and Vang Dan communes, in Nam Po district. To get this done, its troops closely worked with local forces to transport construction materials and contributed working hours to building the houses.
In spite of rains, difficult terrains, and lack of electricity, the local border guards worked days and nights to complete 48 houses for the needy in Na Bung commune as planned.
Receiving the houses, the recipients are expected to stabilize their lives soon to concentrate on their production amidst the ongoing complicated flooding season.
