Inquiring after the family of General Phung Quang Thanh

On the same day, General Gau visited General Ngo Xuan Lich, former Defense Minister and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Chief of the GDP. He briefed them upon task performance of the military since the beginning of this year and preparation work ahead major events of the country and the military, especially the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 80th anniversary of the VPA’s foundation day.

At the same time, General Gau hoped that they would continue to contribute constructive opinions to building a stronger VPA.

In turn, General Ngo Xuan Lich and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan thanked the leaders of the Defense Ministry and GDP for their due care; expressed their belief that the VPA will successfully accomplish assigned tasks in the coming time.
