The event was chaired by Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister General Nguyen Tan Cuong.
The delegation included 97 children, heads of young pioneer organizations, and representatives from agencies and units of Binh Duong province, of which 50 were outstanding students, exemplary members of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization. Many of the delegates have achieved high rankings in national and international competitions and activities.

At the event, Secretary of the Binh Duong provincial Youth Organization Tran Thi Diem Trinh, on behalf of the delegation, reported on the results of the 24th “Uncle Ho’s Good Children" Congress, the provincial young pioneer organization’s activities, children’s movement in the 2023-2025 period.

Speaking at the meeting, General Nguyen Tan Cuong expressed his happiness at welcoming the delegation of exemplary children from Binh Duong province. He emphasized that the younger generation is “the precious asset of precious assets” and the future owners of the country, so it is essential to continue nurturing and providing them with opportunities for comprehensive development.
The Chief of the General Staff also shared with the delegation important milestones in the 80-year journey of building, fighting, and development of the General Staff, affirming the crucial role of the strategic advisory force in both resistance wars and the Fatherland protection and defense cause in peacetime.

At the end of the meeting, the defense leader hoped that after this trip, children would carry the vibrant spirit of today’s event and inspire others to excel in their studies, training, and to engage in good deeds, so that more children can become good children, excellent students, and good young pioneers, "Uncle Ho’s Good Children."
