Distressed trawlers rescued at sea
PANO - Ship KN 364 of Fisheries Surveillance Sub-Squadron No.3 on November 24 successfully towed two distressed trawlers ashore.

Earlier, the two trawlers namely QNg 98122TS with 7 crewmen, captained by Vo Be, from Vu Thanh commune, Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province and QNg 98130TS with two fishermen on board, captained by Pham Van Thau, from Nghia An commune went adrift due to engine failure while fishing at sea about 61 nautical miles off Con Co Island.
After receiving the mayday signal, Ship KN 364 immediately was sent to the scene for a rescue mission.
After hours of searching for the troubled trawlers in bad weather conditions, the ship finally approached and towed the distressed trawlers with all crew-members safely ashore.
