Distressed fisherman saved at sea
PANO – A rescue team of the Border Guard Station of Chan May Port under the Thua Thien – Hue provincial Border Guard Command successfully save a distressed fisherman on April 2.
Earlier, the boat of fisherman Phan Van Cuong from Loc Vinh commune, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien – Hue province was capsized due to strong wind and rough sea.

After receiving the mayday signal, Major Le Van Tien, Chief of the Border Station sent a boat with 10 troops on board to the scene to conduct a search and rescue mission.
Immediately, the distressed fisherman was saved and his trawler was towed ashore.
