The captain immediately contacted the Vietnam MRCC requesting medical assistance.
On receiving the mayday signal, the Vietnam MRCC coordinated with the Da Nang 115 Medical Emergency Center in providing medical advice to the crew and sent the SAR 412 on a search and rescue mission.
