Distressed crew-member saved at sea
PANO – The Vung Tau Port Border Guard Station under the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Border Guard Command and the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center of Region 3 (MRCC III) returned a distressed crew-member to his vessel at 9:00 pm on May 6.
Previously, crew-member Ho Minh Tuan of fishing boat BT 97775 TS, was hit by a winch rope and was injured in his chest while his boat was fishing about 124 nautical miles off the Southeast of Vung Tau city.

After receiving the information, the Provincial Military Command immediately sent troops and medical personnel to follow Ship SAR 413 of the MRCC III to rush to the scene.
By 4:00pm of May 6, the rescue ship reached the fishing boat. Then, the distressed crew-member received first aid and was taken to shore for further treatment.
