Distressed crewmembers saved at sea
PANO - Four drifting crewmembers of two fishing ships were saved and taken to shore safely by local fishermen, announced the Dat Mui Border Guard Station of the Ca Mau Border Guards on March 17.

The distressed crewmembers namely Nguyen Tu Trong, Tran Minh Chan, Danh Trong Nhan, and Tran Quoc Khanh, are from Kien Giang province.
Previously, their two fishing ships, numbered KG 91696 TS and KG 90532 TS, had accidents at sea. After receiving the news, the Dat Mui Border Guard Station in association with the Rach Goc Border Guard Station sent troops and vehicles to the rescue and called on other ships nearby for assistance.
At noon of March 16, Boat of Phan Van Toan from Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district, saved the four distressed crewmembers of the two troubled ships and handed them over to the Dat Mui Border Guard Station.
