Coast guards hold information dissemination activities in Quang Binh
PANO – Flotilla 102 under the Coast Guard Region 1 Command, in collaboration with the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Party Committee of Quang Trach district of Quang Binh province, held an information dissemination program in Quang Dong commune.

During the event, participating locals learned about the Law of the Vietnam Coast Guard and illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
On the occasion, organizers distributed 200 documents, presented 50 gifts to policy beneficiaries, fishermen and needy students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and handed over scholarships to three students who have been taken care by the flotilla.
The program demonstrated the responsibility and care of the coast guard force for policy beneficiaries, people and students who have been strongly affected by the pandemic. It was also to raise fishermen’s awareness of fishing regulations, so as to prevent IUU fishing.
