During the event, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command briefed the teachers and students from An Thoi 1 Secondary School on the command’s 25-year tradition of construction and growth and updated them with information about the Vietnam Coast Guard Law and related documents; ways to identify drugs and drug addicts, harmful effects caused by drugs, several new types of drugs, and the fight against drug crimes at sea over the past time.

Nguyen Gia Phat, a 7th grade student, shared that thanks to the meaningful activities, he and other students had better understanding of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law as well as dangers and negative effects of drugs on themselves, their families and society. Meanwhile, they learned skills for self-prevention, and heightened their responsibility in drug prevention and combat.

On the occasion, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command presented gifts to the school and 15 gifts to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results.
